The normal way to play the Jews Harp (Juice Harp) is to put it between your teeth. Because the modern Jews Harp is made of metal, it may pose a hazard to your teeth. Here's an alternative way to play, using your lips!

First, I got a haircut AND a real job. Second, it's funny you'd tell some1 to get a real job in this economy, and third I got it to sound the way I wanted it to. There is no "correct way for an instrument to sound" though there is a "standard" way. Just letting you know so you can open your mind.
Few great musicians make great paths by doing things "correctly," they usually do things "experimentally." They usually seem to blend little to moderate experimental elements with moderate to heavy standard elements. But!- Similar to beauty, music is in the ear of the beholder!
