How horrible would it be to realize only after it was too late that our subconscious, or even blatant thoughts of another influenced them to be exactly what we thought they were... A liar, a thief, a drug abuser.
I think sometimes people see negative things we believe of them and they, unfortunately, begin to believe us. These negative things we believe are often times the last thing we want, but it seems logical to assume that when someone already feels bad about themselves, that badness is reassured when they see it reflected by faces of others and hope is stricken from them.
Hope, everlasting hope, no matter any others "current" state of being is one thing that bypasses any negative belief of someones current situation so long as that other person has a single grain of desire for renewal. That hope waters, feeds, and protects that grain of renewal to make it grow.
