The most selfish thing I've ever done is have a child. The least selfish thing I've ever done is remain a parent.

Sometimes life is hard but I don't think that having a child is selfish, it's the continuity of life, though some people may have them and some may not! On the other hand, I do beleive that remaining parents is the least selfish thing in this world.
