Pertaining to the way I use and define the word...
Mindset: The set of beliefs a person has which affects the outcome of all their endeavors.
I believe (from observations) that depending on what someone believes the outcome of their actions (depending on their intention) can be more accurately predicted.
On a related note, their future, current, and past thoughts can also be more accurately predicted if their beliefs are known. Thinking is also considered an action, so it would make sense that their thoughts could be more easily predicted. This pertains a little to mind reading as well.
I wrote this to give a little more clarity to a previous article: Mindset Mysteries
As I've done before, I apologize is my writing isn't as comprehensible as it could be. You can consider this more of a rough draft and a sneak peak for a book I'm working on.
It may be interesting to you if I make note that when practicing mindset theories, I practice them in fast paced video games where I can get fast results, putting mindsets and the theories of them to the test.
