Complaining About Bones and Pearls

By: David Rader II on January 25, 2009 @ 10:29 PM

I was just eating a delicious taco salad (home made) and I was slightly shocked to find a bone in it.

Why am I always finding bones in my meat? Do they not strip the meat from the bones anymore? Do they just grind it all up together? More and more, I'm beginning to think that's the beginning of the trend.

Not that I'm complaining about finding valuable things in soft squishy things... I find pearls in oysters almost every time I eat them! It wouldn't be so bad, but it's like biting into a rock. Two pearls in one sitting before! Ouch!

I love the pearls over the years, but I haven't been anxious to eat oysters since the 2nd time it happened. So out of about 3 times of ever eating delicious oysters, I've chomped down on pearls on two of those occasions. Talk about grinding your teeth to bear the hard work for a payoff. I don't think I'm just grinding, I think I'm close to chipping.

I've found bone fragments in 7-11 hotdogs, hot dogs from the grocery store, hamburgers from McDonalds, Tacos from TacoBell, and hamburger meat from grocery stores. Perhaps god may be preventing me from becoming glutenous.

Either way, this Taco Salad is going DOWN! It's so good! Although I'm slightly disturbed, I'm not going to let this food go to waste. I mean, if bones were supposed to be in it I wouldn't mind, but they're not and that's why we pay people to give us the meat. Sometimes I want to run out into a field and start eating the animals like a lion. At least I'd get the nutritious marrow from the bones along with the bones.
