My wife had an mp3 player for a couple years, an RCA TH1611-A. It had the swivel in/out usb connector which made it last longer. Eventually, one of our kids broke it, but until then, this thing played like a champ!
It actually took a beating a couple times and kept going. When it took its final beating, I was able to take it apart and find the wire that got disconnected and hold it together long enough to copy the files off. Luckily I didn't have to solder it- something I've never done before.
All in all, I just wanted to say this thing was great! Durability, battery life and song space (1gb) for the price was excellent. Never any issues with corrupt files or anything. Good buy!

One of the best gifts I have ever received! I like the fact that I can save my place when turning it off. I bought an mp3 player for my husband that had more room but every time we turn it on it starts over, means I listen to the same songs over and over again if I don't take the time to forward through them or listen to one artist. Would really like to find another one for my Mom. |
