Free Boxes for National Mailing and International

A tip for people who sell physical crafts/products/items over the internet or phone. You can get free boxes for shipping national and international.

So what's the catch? Basically, you have to use some of the USPS more expensive services when using those boxes. It's really not so bad though, because those more expensive shipping services come with extras, such as faster shipping, and sometimes included insurance so that if something gets lost or damaged it's at least partially covered. If you're wondering about lost or damaged, it's happened with both shipping providers that I've used so far. The biggest difference I've noticed is USPS took "months" to complete the claim, where UPS took "weeks." I thought both were unacceptable. Another time I received a guitar with a giant hole in the side of it, however somehow the seller I bought from had sent me a new guitar within days when I sent him pictures of it and the hole in the original one. Maybe he just had previous experience with UPS before and could rest assured that he would be reimbursed? Or maybe UPS just liked him more.

Word for word, the terms and agreement ot be agreed upon when ordering the boxes on USPS.com go like this:

"I understand that Express Mail, Priority Mail, Global Express Mail and Global Priority Mail packaging is the property of the United States Postal Service and is provided solely for sending Express Mail, Priority Mail, Global Express Mail and Global Priority Mail. Misuse may be a violation of federal law."

After completing the order this message may be displayed:
